The Pronto Range
of Remotes
Phillips have created the Pronto range of remote controls designed to simplify the control of your AV equipment. Rather than having one remote for each piece of equipment, the Pronto Remotes store all the control codes in one remote. Additional programming allows equipment to be selected and managed correctly at the push of a button.
Any make or model of equipment can be loaded, programmed or copied into a Pronto Remote.
We provide all the programming and grapics support required to make the Pronto remote do what you require.
Quick AV Control Summary
Most pieces of AV equipment provide some form of remote control to supliment the standard front panel buttons. Generally AV equipment (such as a TV) will come standard with a remote control of some kind.
In most cases, these remotes use modulated Infrared light (IR) (operating at a specific wavelength) to send the commands.
There are various forms of control;
InfraRed (IR) - Most Common, Transmits in one direction only (Remote to AV equipment), Line of sight only.
Wireless RF - dedicated, bidirectional control
Wifi/Zigbee - TCP/IP Ethernet based bidirection control
BlueTooth - Wireless bidirectional control (not very common)
Hardwired - Connected directly to control equipment. Usually used in larger systems.
Pronto Wireless Extenders
In some cases the AV equipment maybe located in a cupboard or entirely different room away from the TV or speakers so InfraRed transmission cannot be used. Pronto Wireless extenders can be used to get around this problem using an RF link. The Pronto Remote sends the data to the Wireless Extender which decodes it and sends the IR commands to the appropriate AV equipment.

The Pronto Range of Remotes
The following is a brief list of the Pronto Remotes that we support. The remotes are all capable of controlling your AV equipment but each has its own unique features and cost benifits.
TSU9200
The TSU9200 is the basic unit.
It provides Infrared Control plus the provision of wireless RF control through the use of an RF Extender.
It is generally used in a standalone situation.

TSU9300
The TSU9300 has been recently released by Phillips providing improved 
control through the use of a small high resolution Touch Screen.
The TSU9300 uses both InfraRed and Wireless RF control.
Comes with a cradle for recharging.
The TSU9300 is suitable for small to medium systems, standalone or integrated control of AV equipment.

TSU9400
The TSU9400 is the next step up providing more functionality and control thru the use of the high resolution Touch Screen and macros.
The TSU9400 supports InfraRed, Wireless RF control and WiFi.
Comes with a cradle for recharging.
The TSU9400 is suitable for Standalone or integrated control of AV equipment with a Home Automation System.
